Collect Pop Tabs and Help Support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Charlotte<\/h2>\nThis June, Whitehall Estates Apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina invites our residents and neighbors to take part in a simple yet impactful act of kindness: collecting the small aluminum tabs you pull from soda, soup, and other cans. Known as “pop tabs,” these tiny items can make a big difference for families supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Charlotte<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n <\/div>\nHow to Participate<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n\n- Save Your Tabs – Start Collecting Today<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\nDesignate a clean container at home, work, or school to begin saving your aluminum pop tabs. We accept tabs of all types and colors—as long as they’re aluminum!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
\n- Spread the Word<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\nShare the Whitehall Estates Pop Top Drive event with friends, coworkers, classmates, and local organizations. RMHC Greater Charlotte partners with commercial recyclers who weigh the aluminum tabs and convert them into funds that help provide vital services to local families with children receiving medical care.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n <\/div>\nIn fact, pop tabs are more valuable per ounce than entire cans because they contain a higher concentration of aluminum. They’re also easier to store and transport, making them ideal for community-wide collection drives.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n <\/div>\nAbout RMHC Greater Charlotte<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n <\/div>\nRonald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Charlotte<\/a> provides comfort, care, and critical support to families of sick or injured children receiving medical treatment in Charlotte, North Carolina. Last year alone, RMHC Greater Charlotte served nearly 6,000 families and provided over 17,000 meals with the help of more than 38,000 volunteer hours. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n <\/div>\nServing families from across the Carolinas, the U.S., and around the world, RMHC offers a welcoming, home-like environment just steps away from area hospitals.
